The Korean Education Centre in Sydney operated a Korean Study Information Booth at the 2026 DISCOVER KOREA FESTIVAL, held at the Sydney Overseas Passenger Terminal on Saturday, 15 August 2026.

Approximately 400 visitors visited the booth, and around 150 of them watched videos about studying in Korea and received information on Korean universities, scholarships, application procedures, and student life in Korea. Study in Korea promotional materials were also distributed, and individual enquiries from visitors were addressed.

In celebration of Korean Liberation Day, Taegeukgi bead keyring-making kits and Taegeukgi badges were distributed to visitors. A Lucky Draw featuring Korean culture-related gifts was also held and received an enthusiastic response from visitors.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect interest in Korean culture with studying in Korea and to promote Korean universities and the Study in Korea program to local students and visitors.
