- The NSW Government's Secondary College of Languages (SCL) is a public secondary school which delivers language education
Curriculum
- The school offers migrant students and international students enrolled in secondary schools or TAFE institutions the opportunity to learn the language they speak at home
- Twenty-four languages including Korean are taught to students in Years 7 to 12 according to the NSW Government's language education curriculum
- Credits earned at SCL are recognised as equivalent to regular credits earned at the student's weekday school
Learning Korean at SCL
- SCL offers face-to-face Korean language lessons on Saturdays at designated school locations to students in Years 7 to 12, if a course in Korean is not offered at their weekday school
- Students in Years 11 and 12 can choose Korean for their Higher School Certificate (HSC) study
The Korean language program
- Korean (for Years 7～10) : 2 hours every Saturday during school terms
- HSC Korean (for Years 11 and 12) : 3 hours every Saturday during school terms
- Korean in Context : Enrolment is open to students who were born in Australia or have migrated to Australia before age 10
- Korean Language and Literature : Enrolment is open to students who arrived in Australia after age 10

- To enrol in a SCL Korean course please download the enrolment application form from the school's website and submit the completed form through your weekday school either by post or email
