KEC Sydney Holds 2026 Term 2 Korean Language Course Completion Ceremony and Calligraphy Cultural Experience

The Korean Education Centre in Sydney held the 2026 Term 2 Korean Language Course Completion Ceremony and Calligraphy Cultural Experience from 1 to 2 July 2026, during Week 10, the final week of the Korean language courses.

The theme of this term’s cultural experience was Korean calligraphy. Students first practised basic brush strokes and writing Korean consonants and vowels to become familiar with using the brush. They also ground ink on an inkstone and experienced traditional Korean calligraphy tools before writing their chosen Korean messages on scrolls.

KEC Sydney will continue to provide a range of programs that connect Korean language learning with cultural experiences, helping local students deepen their understanding of the Korean language and culture.
