The Korean Education Centre in Sydney successfully held “Korean Challenge Day” as part of the Week 10 cultural event
for its Term 1 Korean language program.
This event was designed to provide students with an opportunity to practise speaking and pronunciation using the Korean they learned in class, while enjoying a variety of activities including K-pop singing.
In particular, during the speaking and pronunciation challenges, students confidently expressed themselves in Korean and demonstrated their skills.
The K-pop singing activity also encouraged active participation and received an enthusiastic response from students.
Beginner-level classes additionally took part in activities such as traditional stamp-making, trying on hanbok, and K-pop singing, further enhancing their cultural experience.
Awards were presented in each category to motivate students, and after the event, participants enjoyed Korean snacks such as tteokbokki, kimbap, japchae, and drinks, creating a meaningful opportunity to experience Korean culture.
The Korean Education Centre in Sydney will continue to provide a variety of programs that combine Korean language learning with cultural experiences.
