The Sydney Korean Education Centre successfully operated a ‘Study in Korea Information Booth’ during the Korean Festival held at Darling Harbour from 28 to 29 March 2026.
The booth was designed to provide comprehensive information and consultations on studying in Korea, including Korean language programs and higher education opportunities, for students and members of the public interested in pursuing studies in Korea.
A key highlight of the event was the participation of current students from the Centre’s Korean language courses who have firsthand experience in studying in Korea, including short-term language programs, master’s degrees, and the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS). They shared their personal experiences and practical advice, offering visitors valuable and realistic insights into studying and living in Korea.
Over the two-day event, approximately 320 visitors attended the booth, with around 78 individuals expressing strong interest in studying in Korea through in-depth consultations. In addition, a roulette-style lucky draw event was held for booth visitors, where various promotional items were distributed, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere.
The Sydney Korean Education Centre will continue to promote Korean language education and provide meaningful opportunities for students in Australia to explore study options in Korea.
