2026 1st Mentoring Event Successfully Held

The My Dream, Your Dream mentoring event was successfully held on 30 January 2026 with the participation of Korean students considering life and employment in Australia. The event was designed to share practical solutions to the real challenges faced during the settlement process in Australia. Mentor Yeonucho delivered vivid insights based on four years of working holiday experience, covering high-wage labor sites and the process of finding both Korean and local jobs, while also providing guidance on resume writing and leading an active Q&A session. Participants gained a clearer and more realistic understanding of life in Australia. Mentor Chaeyoung Oh then shared her experience of transitioning from an internship to a full-time position at an Australian company. Her story of building language confidence in a foreign environment resonated strongly with participants. Following the mentoring sessions, mentees were given the opportunity to introduce their dreams and career goals. Participants shared their concerns and exchanged messages of empathy and encouragement. The event served not only as an information session but also as a valuable opportunity to build networks among students interested in overseas employment and long-term settlement. The organisers plan to continue operating programs that support the stable and successful settlement of students abroad.
