The Korean Education Centre in Sydney successfully hosted the 2025 Korean Top Science & Engineering Universities Online Information Session on Wednesday, July 10, for students and parents across Australia.

Four of Korea’s leading science and engineering universities — DGIST, GIST, POSTECH, and UNIST — participated in the session to share detailed information on international admissions, academic strengths by major, scholarship programs, and campus life.

The event was held live via Zoom and ran for approximately 90 minutes. It opened with a 2-minute 30-second introductory video about Korea, highlighting the country’s rich cultural heritage and cutting-edge technological leadership.

Following each university’s presentation, a Q&A session was held where students and parents were able to ask questions directly. University representatives provided in-depth and helpful responses to the attendees.

Korea’s top science and engineering universities offer tangible opportunities for students to grow into future global leaders. We hope this session inspires more students to consider Korean universities as a meaningful and exciting study abroad destination.
