A group of 19 Australian principals and deputy principals have landed in Korea and have started their tour with a visit to the Sejong Convention Centre for a lecture on Korean Education. Then on to the attached Elementary school of Gong-ju national university of education, Korea National University of Education, Sejong Global High School, Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education. Seoul Metropolitan City Office of Education in order to better understand Korean education systems.
Also, the participants visited the UN Memorial Park in Busan and the Australian Embassy in Korea to understand the close relationship between Korea and Australia. In addition, they visited Bulguksa Temple, Cheomseongdae, National Museum of Korea, Gyeongbokgung Palace, K-Style Hub Exhibition hall, Nanta Performance, Hyundai Motor Company in Asan, DMZ etc. Especially DMZ tour, everybody has agreed that it was an exceptional part of the tour and very thought provoking and emotional.
The participants said “it was a good opportunity for us to understand Korean education, history, culture also industry.” “In addition, we were impressed by the warm welcome of Korean.”
