POSTECH, the first and best research-oriented university in Korea, selects 370 incoming freshmen annually from the top 1% of high school graduates in Korea.

For the first time since its establishment, POSTECH is recruiting international undergraduate students starting from Fall 2026 intake.

Recognized in global society, POSTECH has been ranked high in global rankings:

Ranked 1st in the JoongAng Ilbo University Rankings(toped both the engineering and natural sciences rankings)
Ranked 2nd in THE World’s Best Small Universities Rankings 2024, following Caltech
Ranked 9th in THE Young University Rankings 2024
10 Subjects Ranked Top 100 for QS World University Ranking by Subject 2025

Semester Begins: September 2026
Screening Procedure: document screening only (no interview)
