On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Kim Allford, the principal of Bonnyrigg High School in Sydney, which offers Korean as a regular subject, along with her students, visited Gangbit Elementary-Middle School (Principal: Suhwan Kang) in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, to sign a sister school MOU.

Principal Suhwan Kang of Gangbit Elementary-Middle School served as the director of the Sydney Education Centre from 2014 to 2017. Leveraging this connection, the schools plan to establish a sister school relationship, conducting regular virtual classes, email exchanges, and reciprocal visits for training between the students.
