An International Cooperation Officer from the Federal Government's Education Department Visits the Korean Education Centre.

On Monday, February 26, Sophie Fisher, the International Cooperation Officer of the Federal Government's Department of Education, visited the education center.

During the 40-minute meeting, Director Ji-Young Kwon and Sophie Fisher discussed ways to enhance educational exchanges between the two countries.

Director Kwon proposed several initiatives to strengthen Korean language education infrastructure, including the potential dispatch of Korean language teachers to Australian primary and secondary schools and the expansion of funding support programs for new schools adopting Korean language courses in the ACT. Sophie Fisher promised to discuss these proposals with the Federal Department of Education to address them as part of the federal agenda.
