10 August 2018, Kie Min Kim, a director of the Korean Education Centre attended the Multicultural Day Festival at Strathfield Girls High School.

As of 2018, about 150 Korean background students are enrolled, and Year 7 – Year 12 are being taught Korean language in Strathfield Girls High School.
