Korean Homeland Education Program

Here is the guidance for Korean Homeland Education Program(K-HED) in 2019 organized by NIIED(The National Institute for International Education). We are looking forward to Many of you are interested in it.

 

1. Application Guide

-University Preparatory Course: approx 60.

-Understanding Korea Course: approx 160.

-Special Vacation Course: approx 100.

Recruitment: 4 times a year

 

2. Admission Requirements.

-University Preparatory Course: Overseas Koreans who have received 12 years of formal education (or equivalent academic credentials), with a recommendation from a government official.

-Understanding Korea Course: Overseas Koreans who have graduated from elementary school or higher(or the equivalent), with a recommendation from a government official.

-Special Vacation Course: Overseas Koreans aged 12 and above, with a recommendation from a government official.

 

3. Scholarship

-No.: approx. 270 people a year

-Benefit: Application process(1Course), support for 70% of round trip airfare and educational expenses

 

4. 2nd recruitment

-Closing date: 24th May 2019

-Application Office: Korean Education Centre in Sydney, email: consyd7@mofa.go.kr

-Submission: Visit reception, e-mail(please call request to confirm after sending e-mail)and post(it must arrive application period)
